Our Story

Our story is most likely similar to other businesses in a lot of ways. But what makes us unique in starting our business, is we just want to bring “Simple Joy” and smiles to children. How amazing it is to live in a country where we can choose what we get to do in life to be fulfilled! 

Throughout Jeff’s career as a Director of Information Technology and Director of Marketing, and Lisa having owned her own business working with clients, both discovered that no matter how much effort was contributed, neither were fulfilled in the direction we were going.

Jeff had been thinking about starting a business like this for a few years and when an opportunity arose to get it going, we then realized the impact for good this could have on so many children.

To this end, we decided to create a program that could bless the lives of unfortunate children who may never get to have this fun experience otherwise.

With the “Pay It Forward Program”, we give the opportunity for generous donors like you, to help provide a train themed party to a child whose family has encountered hardships. Anytime you book an event with Simple Joy Train Rides, you get the opportunity to donate to the “Pay It Forward Program” if you choose.

We also donate a portion of all our proceeds to children’s charitable organizations.

Our goal is to bring, “Simple Smiles that last for Miles!”
